Executive Director

Utah Department of Heritage and Arts (Salt Lake City UT)

Provide strong innovative leadership and vision to the administration of the Division of Arts & Museums, Division of State History, Office of Multicultural Affairs, Division of Indian Affairs, UServe Utah, and the Utah State Library, while working to preserve and promote the heritage of the arts in the state, and cultural development within; responsible for participating in establishing direction, goals, and policies; and appropriately organizing the department in an efficient and fiscally responsible way. Executive Director

Museum of Contemporary Art, Tucson (Tucson AZ)

Provide informed and compelling leadership and build consensus with staff and stakeholders. S/he will oversee operations, fundraising, fiscal management and public engagement. The Executive Director will take an active role, along with the board of directors and development committee, in private and public fundraising, expanding contributions and memberships. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors and oversees the staff, currently consisting of three full-time and seven part-time employees. [1005]

In collaboration with CAS researchers, the successful applicant will propose, develop and execute a collaborative research project that will enhance the scholarly impact of data and artifact collections managed by the CAS Repository.  Annual salary: $48,000.  [1005]

Directs/ supervises all staff, and volunteers in management roles ensuring that work is in compliance with professional and legal standards, as well as in line with the RoTM mission and 2020 Vision goals; Coordinates fundraising efforts in support of the three phases of the 2020 Vision; Reviews and approves all aspects of planning, design, and content in the three program areas: Events, Exhibits, and Education; and serves as overall project manager for major RoTM programs. Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art at Utah State University (Logan UT)

Oversee care and management of permanent collection of 5,100 artworks and all objects in custody, including responsibility for inspection, identification, description of condition, transporting, reporting, and recording of incoming and outgoing loans.; manage art storage and facilitates access to collection objects as original resource material for students, faculty, and scholars.
