SOFT-PACKING ONLINE WORKSHOP

April 15, 2021, 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Join City of Phoenix Public Art Collections Manager Doug Oland to learn how the pros pack. Doug will demonstrate soft packing techniques live on Zoom while you participate from home.

As part of this workshop you’ll receive everything to create your own slip-case and cavity mount
 - instructions
 - templates
 - supply kit with 
bubble wrap, cardboard, ethafoam, glassine, Tyvek, poly batting, and surprise swag.

Participants should have the following materials available for the workshop
 - ruler
 - knife to cut cardboard  
 - box cutter or bread knife to cut 2” ethafoam
 - tape
 - pencil 

Supply kits can be picked up at Pueblo Grande Museum (4916 East Washington Street, Phoenix) beginning March 22.

Supply kits also available by mail for an addition cost of $10. Due to shipping limitations mailed supply kits will not include bubble wrap or poly batting.

Supply kits are limited to the first 25 participants
