The Museum Association of Arizona welcomes donations to help with its mission of building a vital museum community, ensuring that all of Arizona’s museums are recognized as essential to the fabric of their communities. You may designate your donation for either the Professional Development Scholarship Fund or the General Operations Fund.
Professional Development Scholarship Fund
The MAA Professional Development Scholarships provides financial assistance to Association members for attendance at an MAA-sponsored workshop or conference. Scholarships will typically include the registration fee and a stipend to offset the cost of travel, hotel, or other expenses related to attendance at the event. All awards are made through a competitive process, and are based on both financial need and value to the applicants and their institutions. Volunteers and individuals from small museums are encouraged to apply. Scholarships totaling at least $2,000 are offered each year.
General Operations Fund
The General Operations Fund supplements money received through memberships and grants, and is used where it is most needed for MAA's communications, advocacy and professional development programs.
